Artists In Recovery

In 2008, Recovery Partnership established the Artists in Recovery art exhibit. This provides an opportunity for local artists with mental illness to exhibit their artwork free of charge. While this incredible artwork adorns our halls and walls every day, we have coordinated a public opening to coincide with “First Friday” every month. These public exhibits offer artists the opportunity to sell their art to the public while retaining 100% of the sale price

Mental Health Awareness Walk

The Lehigh Valley Mental Health Awareness Walk is held the first Friday of May of each year. We partner with other area agencies to acquire community grants, donations, and sponsorship to hold the event. In 2024, more than 600 people attended the Walk.

Mental Health Sensitivity Training

Since 2007 we have partnered with Northampton County Crisis Services and other area providers to host Mental Health Sensitivity Trainings. These trainings focus on three different areas: Understanding Serious and Persistent Mental Illness, Understanding Emergency Services and the 302 process, and Understanding the Impact of Insensitivity as it Relates to Mental Health Recovery. These trainings have been attended by nearly 2000 people including emergency room workers, provider agencies, correctional officers, police and other first responders and individuals in recovery.
